Penn’s undergraduate students pursue more than 90 majors across four schools and engage in interdisciplinary programs that make the resources of all 12 Penn schools available as they forge new paths in research and scholarship.
Each student contributes to the unique mix of cultural identities, socioeconomic backgrounds, religious beliefs, and sexual orientations that is the Penn community. Undergraduates learn from this rich diversity and develop the perspectives they need to thrive—and help others to thrive—in an increasingly complex world.
The University Catalog provides information for current and prospective students about all of Penn’s undergraduate, PhD, and research master’s programs as well as academic policies and resources. The Catalog also provides a listing, by subject, of course offerings across the campus at all levels of education.
A complete list of graduate and professional degree programs, from accounting to veterinary medicine.
I am a computer science student, but I have always loved the humanities, particularly art and literature. I knew coming into Penn that I wouldn’t just be taking engineering classes – I wanted to experience all that Penn had to offer.

It tempers me and forces me to go back to the text and come up with really clear arguments. I like to think it’s youthful exuberance, and Plato’s such a tough puzzle, I mean, there’s so much there that it’s hard not to grab at things.”
